The final project focuses on human rights, and is intended to follow the global classrooms project of the previous term.
Through Global Classrooms the students in 3d of ESSO have studied the issue of Gender Violence, and as such have become very much aware of the concept of human rights and equality.
The final project consists of a series of a series of lessons and classroom activities to reintroduce the topic of human rights, cement its definitions and discuss the topic; these classes will take place during the third term. The activities are meant to engage the process of analysis and critical thinking that was initiated earlier in the global classroom project.
Whereas global classrooms entailed a lot of individual effort at home in terms of writing, research, note taking public speaking, this project aims to be accomplished in class. It will expand on their previous work of investigating and discussing a subject in depth, and takes advantage of their relatively high level of English comprehension to discuss a complex subject.
The Auxiliar will lead the classes, provide context and guide the discussions and activities.
